Anita Michael is a multiple Award-winning Poet and Spoken Word Artiste with the performance name, “Neeta Rare.” Her wealth of experience as a Voice Actor, author, content creator and Founder Of Street Mentors Network, (a Nonprofit organization which takes care of children abandoned on the streets) enables her to write and perform unforgettable and soul-moving poetry with world-class delivery, giving her audience an experience of a lifetime.

Neeta Rare was nominated as a Finalist On the UBA Africa Poetry Day Contest List In 2018 and was the one-time first runner-up of the Port Harcourt Literary Society Poetry Contest. In July 2023, Neeta Rare was nominated for The African Podcast And Voices (APVA) Awards (Storytelling Category). She was also a finalist for The Vweta Chadwick 2023 Poetry Prize. In October, 2023, she received an Award Of Influence from LIST Africa.
